Recently, we took a hard look at the automated emails sent to your customers and realized something important: 

Between confirmations, receipts, reminders, and weekly follow-ups for term courses, customers were getting overwhelmed. 

We have completely overhauled our notification system to focus on quality over quantity. Here is a breakdown of the changes, divided into four key sections.

The Old Behavior: Too Much Noise Previously

Previously, our notification flow was rigid and volume-heavy. When a user booked a session, they would receive a confirmation email. If you had "pre-session notes" defined, they would receive a 

If a customer bought a bundle or a gift card, they would receive these emails for every single booking, resulting in a flooded inbox.

. Because the system treated every session as a trigger, a parent booking a 10-week course would receive a "Thank You" and "Review Request" email every single week. This was annoying for customers and diluted the value of your reviews.

We decided to trim this workflow down significantly.

The New Booking Trigger: Consolidated & Clean 

We have streamlined the initial interaction to be cleaner and more relevant. 

The New Reminder Logic: The "48-Hour Buffer" 

Reminders are tricky. We want to reduce no-shows without annoying a customer who just booked yesterday. We have implemented a new "Stale Notification Fallback" system to make reminders smarter. 

Here is the logic we now use to decide whether to send a reminder: 

Post-Event Overhaul: Flexible & Term-Aware 

This is the most significant update. Previously, post-event emails were triggered based on when the booking was made. Now, they are triggered by when the session actually ends. We have introduced three modes for these emails, which you can set as a school-wide default or override on specific listings: 

The "Termly" Fix Most importantly, the system is now "Term-Aware."
